IHSS provides homemaker and personal care assistance to persons receiving Supplemental Security Income or who have a low income and need aid in the home to remain independent.

Southern Caregiver Resource Center (SCRC) offers services to family caregivers of adults with chronic and disabling conditions or diseases. With a team of highly-qualified, professional staff, SCRC helps families through a full range of programs and services.To be eligible for services, a client must be assisting/caring for an adult with a cognitive impairing condition that occurred after the age of 18 (for example: dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease), or someone age 60 years and older in need of assistance with daily living activities. Services are for residents of San Diego and Imperial counties.

ElderHelp provides information and services to seniors to help them remain living independently in their own homes. Members receive help with transportation, grocery shopping, friendly visits, pet care, minor home repairs, Care Coordination services and much more.
Seniors-A-Go-Go Program:
Provides reliable door-thru-door transportation. Pre-screened drivers pick up member and provide assistance during errands and appointments. Use Seniors-A-Go-Go to run light errands, medical appointments, pharmacy trips, visit family and friends or to the salon or barber shop. Rides must be within a 15-mile radius of your home and scheduled 7 days in advance. Donations accepted.
Concierge Club:
The Club provides personalized services and supports to senior still living in their own homes. Each member has access to a care coordinator who will help connect members to services provided by caring staff, dedicated volunteers and a network of trusted providers. Services are companionship, grocery shopping & errands, financial advocates, transportation, minor home repairs, gardening, home safety inspections and grab bar installation.
Homeshare:
Assists persons seeking affordable housing by matching them with home providers, primarily older adults, who wish to remain in their homes and communities. Service Exchange allows an individual to perform household chores such as cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, transportation, gardening, and/or companionship in exchange for a reduced cost private bedroom. Rental Exchange allows home providers to make additional income and for seekers to rent a private bedroom at below market value.
Holiday Angels:
At the holidays, ElderHelp feels their members deserve to have a special gift and visit from their "Angels," which provides all members with a festive holiday plant, a gift card and handmade card from a student or Girl Scout. The most common purchases made with the gift cards are; medication, food and basic needs. Angels are partnered with volunteers and UPS, who collect baskets of food, blankets, socks or slippers, and other care package items to be gifted to the seniors.
